1990's Prints

Helmut Newton’s late-period works, often referred to as the nude era, reflecting the distilled precision of a lifetime behind the lens. The 1990s prints balance stark simplicity with commanding visual presence — marking the close of an era and the enduring impact of Newton’s artistic vision.  The majority of Newton's home residence throughout this period was at the iconic Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles, California.  Many of his works were shot on hotel property and can be easily recognized in the background.
